How to Marinate Steak for Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
Jump to Recipe
This Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli skillet meal has a combination of tender ground beef pieces, crunchy fresh broccoli, flavorful mushrooms and savory garlic all mixed in a wonderful, delicious teriyaki sauce for an incredible easy and healthy week night dinner!
My Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli is ready in about 1o minutes which makes it a great addition to my weekly line up of quick recipes! Typically when I make a one skillet dinner, I try to incorporate a protein, a vegetable, and a grain. I left the grain out of this one because there are multiple veggies and this dish is perfectly filling without it.
What is teriyaki sauce made of?
Teriyaki sauce has typically 4 main ingredients: soy sauce, sake, sugar and ginger. It's more or less your basic Asian seasoning and/or marinade. You can marinate meat, vegetables, fish or tofu in this sauce for at least half an hour before cooking. It isn't typically used as a table sauce, but it is perfectly safe to do so!
What are Baby Bella Mushrooms?
Baby bella mushrooms are another name for the Italian portobello mushrooms. Known officially by the Mushroom Council as Portabella mushrooms, baby bellas are cremini mushrooms that have been allowed to mature for up to seven days longer than commercial creminis. (More info HERE)
